I am a native Floridian and live in the same house that I grew up in. That is a real
rarity, as less than 18% of the population in Pinellas County were born here.
Service to my country during the Viet Nam war was performed in the U.S. Navy,
first as a photographer and then as a hospital corpsman. I left the service at the
end of '81.
A disabled veteran, I returned to school, completing my Associates in Liberal Arts
at St. Petersburg Junior College and attained my bachelors degree in
Anthropology (with a minor in Sociology) from the University of South Florida. I
could not have done this without the love and support of my wife, Andrea.
For over eight years now I have been a Radio Activist at community radio station
WMNF 88.5 fm in Tampa, FL where I produce and host a Native American radio
show called, Two Worlds. This is volunteer work. There is no pay, only long hours
of dedication. It is done with a lot of love and I consider it Give-away.
